Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) in Las Vegas, a program provided by Accessible Space, Inc. is looking for Direct Support Rehabilitation Technicians to provide personal care and guidance to NCEP clients. We have part time and full time hours available!! 

NCEP offers a terrific work environment in a state of the art facility, a knowledgeable and skilled multidisciplinary team of clinicians. Great healthcare experience!

 

Some duties include -  Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including mobility, transfers, toileting, grooming assistance, hygiene, dressing, eating, and related areas. Provide functional skills training (i.e., assistance/instruction in cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, etc.) and provide cognitive skills training (memory training, reinforcing speech and language rehab goals, etc.)

 

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED, minimum age 18 (as required by the state of Nevada) Must be able to follow direction and communicate effectively communicate with the
clients and colleagues and must be able to read, write and speak English. Strong problem-solving skills, dependable. Ability to lift and transfer adults in a safe and consistent manner, properly and consistently using mechanized lifting equipment, as prescribed. All staff are required to have a valid Nevada Driver's License and possess proof of automobile insurance required by the State of Nevada.
