Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

Accessible Space, Inc., a national nonprofit organization providing quality individualized support and assistance to individuals with disabilities is seeking a part time Supportive Living Assistant to assist and support individuals reach and maintain their highest level of independence and quality of life. We are looking for dedicated staff that has an excellent customer service approach to work, is compassionate and take satisfaction knowing that they have helped make a difference.

As a professional member of our team, you will provide quality assist with everyday living tasks, personal care and chore services, including but not limited to: grooming, personal hygiene, dressing, assistance with visual/auditory devices, and meal preparation.  All personal cares will be performed as outlined in the Individual Service Plan (ISP). Chore services may include, but are not limited to: menu planning, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping. Assist with budgeting, activity planning, and coordination of available community services, to ensure successful independent community living. Create accurate written records and maintain documentation as required.  
 

Must be able to effectively
communicate.  Must be able to read,
write, and speak English in order to ensure proper communication and documentation.
Ability to work in the community with residents in a safe and appropriate
manner. Must be able to work independently and to function as a key member of a
service delivery team. Must be able to travel throughout the community. Must
possess a high school diploma or GED.
