Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is searching for a Full Time Administrative and Safety Coordinator to join our team at our Spencer Street location. 
 

In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support and assistance to staff as needed in order to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the team. You will assist the Site Administrator and NCEP Quality and Safety Coordinator in ensuring the Spencer program is in compliance with safety, quality and regulatory as well as accrediting standards of CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehab Facilities), collecting and providing data in all areas of documentation, data management and recordkeeping.
 

In addition, you will organize and maintain documentation related to clinical, operational, and financial records needed for accreditation and licensing, including meeting minutes, surveys, outcome data, educational certificates, staff credentials, safety reports and incident reports, training meetings, client evaluation and treatment documentation. Collect all initial incident reports and disseminate to appropriate managers/supervisors/medical personnel timely and appropriately.  Forward quarterly overview reports to NCEP Quality and Safety Coordinator.

 

Assist the NCEP Quality and Safety Coordinator and Spencer Site Administrator in the coordination and execution of safety-related tasks, e.g., safety inspections, documentation, safety checks (OSHA, first aid, etc.), drills, accrediting standards documentation and recordkeeping, maintenance and equipment needs including regular calibration of all therapy machines and devices.  Forward quarterly reports to NCEP Quality and Safety Coordinator.

 

Collect and aggregate data from drills to provide quarterly data reports with assistance of the Site Administrator. Conducts internal safety audits, vehicle safety audits and inspections, maintains vehicle safety logs, assists in maintaining vehicles and registration, and assists in training of staff on vehicle safety, retaining all documentation in accordance with CARF and other regulatory agencies.
 

Our candidate will have a minimum of two years of administrative office experience and a strong background in standard business equipment and office practices. Demonstrated experience successfully leading/managing staff. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.

Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone. Proficiency in MS Office and its applications, including Excel.
