Direct Support Professional Float $20/hour in Falcon Heights, MN

Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

Accessible Space Inc. is currently seeking a Full time Direct Support Professional Float  to provide quality personal care and health-related services. The float position provide flexibility in scheduling by working a combination of scheduled shifts at multiple sites on various shifts.

What you will do: You will assist with activities of daily living, ensure that residents receive proper medication, assist with personal cares, prepare meals, and any other necessary job duties to meet the needs and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve. Our goal is to support our residents' desire to live an independent lifestyle!

You're qualified for this position if: Must be available to work at least two different shifts (e.g., days and evenings, evenings and overnights, etc.) Must be available to work at more than one ASI service location. Must be available to work at least 75% of the weekends (i.e., must be available to work 6 weekend shifts per month). Ability to effectively communicate with the resident and provider.  Minimum age of 18. Must be able to read, write, hear, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation. Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner. Previous related experience a plus.
