Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

Accessible Space, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Full time Systems Administrator to join our team.

The Systems Administrator provides direction and support in the areas of computer systems and data processing, in a manner that ensures ASI's (Accessible Space, Inc.) information processing needs are met through efficient, cost-effective means.

Job duties include but not limited to: Work with staff from all departments to determine user requirements and computer applications, in order to design existing and future systems and improvements in the area of information technology. Develop structures and design systems to automate and /or improve computerized systems and processes. Review computer system and network capabilities, on an ongoing basis.  Analyze needs and make recommendations for purchasing/upgrading/maintaining hardware and software. Provide consultation and support to all ASI computer users when computer or network problems arise.  Work with providers and/or users to remedy problems and prevent future occurrences. Provide user support, including direction, training, in understanding computer hardware, software, and systems applications. Install and maintain computer software applications. Perform system maintenance tasks on Windows Servers, Windows client OS, and infrastructure to ensure system uptime.

 

To qualify you must have: A 4-year-degree in computer science or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A working knowledge of and experience with MS software products. Demonstrated skills and experience in the administration and support of IT systems and networks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a range of individuals at all levels within the organization. Ability to maintain and properly safeguard confidential data and information. Ability to work effectively in a busy environment with multiple distractions. The ability to occasionally travel throughout the Twin Cities Metro area
